Sustainability as a competitive advantage
Industrial manufacturers are under growing pressure to cut emissions, improve resource efficiency, and disclose environmental performance. At Metalic Technoforge, sustainability is embedded in operations – from energy sourcing to verified carbon reporting – enabling customers to meet their own ESG goals.
Solar power and energy efficiency
MTF operates a 1 MW solar plant that delivers substantial CO₂ reductions – approximately 1,450 tons of CO₂ per year – demonstrating how renewable power can directly reduce the carbon footprint of metalworking processes. This renewable contribution is part of an overall strategy where more than half of the company’s energy mix is green.
Verified reporting & compliance
Transparent carbon accounting is essential for global trade. MTF reports verified CBAM data to EU customers and aligns carbon accounting with ISO 14064 and the GHG Protocol. These verified disclosures make it easier for European partners to meet compliance requirements and buyer-supplier sustainability checks.
Governance, procurement & ESG roadmap
A formal ESG committee, anti-corruption policy and sustainable procurement code support long-term accountability. MTF is preparing its first ESG report and undergoing EcoVadis benchmarking – steps that strengthen its position as a responsible supplier for international OEMs. Plans to launch a Sustainability Portal and set 2030 targets demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement.
Operational benefits of sustainability
Energy-efficient furnaces, waste reduction programs and resource optimization not only lower environmental impact but also cut operating costs. These savings translate into better pricing stability for customers and reduced supply-chain risk associated with energy price volatility.
